Hi, I’m the artist and founder behind PressedPrettyByMei.

My journey into the world of press ons started out of necessity. After a single salon experience left my natural nails thin and damaged with rings of fire, I knew I needed a better alternative. I turned to the budget options from sites like Shein and Temu, but I quickly realised you get what you pay for. They were flimsy, see through, and would pop off within hours.

I knew there had to be a way to get salon quality strength and high end art without the damage or the cheap plastic feel.

Operating out of my home based studio in Victoria, I set out to bridge that gap. I spent 2 years (2024-2026) perfecting a technique that uses professional products and a structured builder gel overlay to ensure every set feels like a real salon extension.

I believe a press on set should feel just as strong, secure, and luxurious as a fresh salon appointment. I don’t just paint nails... I engineer them.

Every single set is handcrafted using professional grade products and a meticulous multi step reinforcement process.

While standard press ons can feel flimsy or thin, my nails are built for durability and a realistic salon feel.

  • I start by chemically etching every nail using a dehydrator to ensure the strongest possible bond.

  • I apply a professional slip layer and builder gel bead to create a natural apex and structure. This reinforcement means your nails won't bend, snap, or feel like plastic.

  • From minimalist chic to complex 3D Masterpieces, every detail is hand painted and sealed with high gloss armour for a long lasting, mirror like finish.
